Paul Barnett is the Director and founder of Paul Barnett Design Group, an Architectural, Landscape, Interiors, and Furniture Design Company he founded 31 years ago.
Paul started his career in Furniture Design and studied Ceramics and the arts and crafts before focussing on studies in architecture.
He received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture at UNSW and a Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Canberra in the 1980s.
Paul worked with government and private Architectural firms for 12 years before starting his own company in 1992.
Paul's leadership in Business developed out of his own Journey of self-development. It evolved to create consciousness around our interconnectedness and enable others to reach their potential as a collaborative way to realise our true potential.
He is exploring architecture, ecology, the coexistence of people and nature on this planet, and the development of consciousness on this discovery path. This is expressed through his vision of leadership and his developing principles from everyday interaction with colleagues, clients, and the community.
Paul's vision of Eco Village and regenerative design is expressed in all aspects of his work, and he presents a journey from "Me to We, "a journey from Head to Heart as founding principles and the backbone of a successful business and developing career.
Paul was awarded Associate Professor of Chung Hua University Taiwan from July 2021 to June 2023, lecturing in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Industrial Design and engaging students to consider life's purpose and the role of Regenerative Design and regenerating community and ecology in place as a core principle and driver in their chosen profession.
